Katherine Graves MS, RDN, LD

Philosophy: I believe nutrition should be supportive, not restrictive. I take a non-diet, collaborative approach to helping individuals find balance, variety, and flexibility over rigid rules. My goal is to create a supportive space where we can explore your unique needs, build trust with food, and develop habits that feel realistic, nourishing, and sustainable.

Experience: I have 16 years of experience as a dietitian across a variety of settings, including psychiatric hospitals, long-term care facilities, and acute care. My background includes working with chronic medical conditions, managing enteral nutrition, and supporting nutrition related to mental health.

I have also worked within the insurance setting, providing nutrition coaching and leading presentations focused on sustainable lifestyle changes and health education.

Over the past six years, I have focused more deeply on one-on-one nutrition counseling, which I continue alongside my clinical work. This experience allows me to combine a strong clinical foundation with a collaborative, personalized approach to helping individuals navigate their nutrition and build a more supportive relationship with food.

Fun facts (I love to talk about fun things!):

  • I love the outdoors. Whether hiking, rock climbing, or relaxing in a hammock, I feel energized by time outside.

  • I have 23 houseplants and counting. I don’t think you can ever have too many!

  • I grew up on a produce farm and started eating tomatoes like apples as a kid. I still do, and you can often find cherry tomatoes in my hiking or climbing bag.

  • I love to travel, experience new places, and most of all , try new foods!

  • I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family and believe that people are one of life’s greatest gifts.
